BIO:

Shani and her twin brother Naba were Mufasa and Sarabi's very first litter of cubs, and they had been conceived when the two were still quite young. They had only just gotten married, and Mufasa's mother Uru had not yet even passed the throne to her son yet. Despite how young they were the two were extremely excited at the prospect of parenthood and couldn't wait for their young cubs to arrive, and the whole pride was in celebration of the news that their future queen was with child. Sadly however Sarabi suffered complications early on, her two cubs were born several months too early, and Shani and Naba were extremely weak and frail. Despite Rafiki doing everything he could the cubs were simply too weak, and he stated that they were unlikely to survive the next few days. The two parents were inconsolable, and they had spent those last days glued to their son and daughter, doing everything they could to ease their passing and spend what little time they had with them. When they finally breathed their last breath Mufasa and Sarabi mourned for a very long time. They did not try again for children until very many years later, and when they did it was very bittersweet for them both.

So yes, Shani here and Naba did not survive very long after being born, and they didn't make it to adulthood. This is just a 'what if they lived, what would they look like?' thing.

I'm also aware that Shani was a working name for Kiara in production, but I reused it here.
